Sorry about the blurriness....when I put on the flash it creates a glare so I had to turn it off which results in product like that of above and below...:(

So I've been doing a wee bit of painting since I last posted as well. The two at the top are acrylics and the bottom one...the super creepy one :) is a digital painting. What I love most about painting is that going into it I usually tend to have no pre-conception of what I'm going to create, then by the end of it when I come out of the trance and analyze what I've done It's like I'm looking at it for the first time and I get to try and figure out what it means.
I'm really quite amateur with painting yet. I'm only self taught and use acrylics because they're safe and easy. I've yet to try oils and have only experimented with watercolours, both of which I am itching to learn. I am pretty stoked on how far I've gotten with digital painting though, since that first day in 2007 when I just started school and was embarassed that I was the only person in my class who had never even heard of Photoshop, much less ever used it. As for my next self lesson...ILLUSTRATOR! weehaaaaawwwwr!
